Some overseas parents have friends or relatives in the UK who are happy to undertake this responsibility, others have no-one to help them. Lions and Tigers provide students with a secure and caring environment during their stay in the UK. It is beneficial to appoint us as a guardian as we are located close to your school of choice. We then accept legal responsibility for the child and provides the child with a place to live during school holidays or periods of illness. We work for our family clients to help secure the best educational outcomes for their children.

For over 25 years we have worked in and with the most impressive UK schools (from ages 3-18 years) and have a trusted and highly effective relationship with numerous Heads, Registrars and Admissions Teams. Our team is highly experienced and knowledgeable in the British education sector, with extensive school leadership in, and knowledge of, British boarding and day schools and top-league universities.

Our senior staff have inspected British schools for over ten years and have considerable school leadership, management and governance experience. We have presented at several education conferences as well as advising on educational matters to different organisations and schools.

• We work to secure the very best school for a child, however long it takes. There is no limit on our time, so we can help source schools four years or four months ahead; we have excellent contacts to help children come to British schools. Families may contact us at any time and we respond very quickly, 7 days a week.
• We do not send a child’s application to numerous schools, simply hoping to secure a place. We consider each child’s character, academic ability, talents and interests and make direct approaches to specific schools to ensure the very ‘best fit’ for the individual.
• We have worked in or with independent (private) schools and know them very well – their strengths and reputations, the heads and senior staff. We have an excellent relationship with them and they trust our judgement and professionalism. We contact each school directly to discuss each child.
• We work for our family clients who are allocated a Director to guide them through every step of their child’s education journey, however long that is. This policy of direct personal engagement ensures that the very best advice and guidance are given at all times.
• We do not receive any commission or referral fees from schools. By doing this we can provide a genuinely impartial and independent service. Our fees are based on individual family requirements and represent excellent value as they provide ongoing support and guidance service from the time families engage with us until a child starts at school. Our service focusses on each child as an individual, with different strengths and interests. Each school has different strengths too and we use our knowledge, skills and understanding of the education system to match the two.

We provide an exceptional level of very personalised service to our families, and to family clients of our corporate colleagues, looking for expert UK school and university placement guidance and access to impressive boarding and day schools. As families consider educating their child in the UK or are relocating for a short period of time, we guarantee to give our time, knowledge and support to help make the important decisions towards that goal. A child’s happiness and success depends on securing the right school and we do everything possible to make that happen.

All prospective students to UK schools are tested independently to assess their level of English, Maths, Reasoning and overall academic standards before we match them to the best and most suitable school for the individual child. By doing this we have a clear and accurate understanding of each child early in the process.

The assessment is included in the School Placement Search fee or can be taken before starting the process. If taken before, the fee is charged in advance and then deducted from the Placement fee if families decide they wish us to work with them to help secure their child an impressive British school.

• School visit Travel & Accommodation Service: Our Travel Services department can arrange all UK travel, hotel and other bookings, including luxury car hire, top restaurants and theatre visits.
